This forum is being called together and organised by the Lithgow Business Association in an attempt to encourage open and frank discussions, with the view to consolidating current business interests in the Lithgow LGA and further encouraging potential businesses to the area, thereby cementing the future viability of our region as a whole.
The forum will be mediated and will follow a strict agenda.
This will be a great opportunity for business people/parties with an interest in developing areas or sites within the Lithgow LGA to have points raised with the relevant departments but there will be a strict time frame and it is expected that these items will be answered by the relevant Councilors/staff in attendance on the night.
All interested partied are asked to lodge their submissions to the LBA by July 20 by emailing
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
These submissions are to be in written form and questions/presentation of such will be given at LBA executive’s discretion. Prior notice will then be given of the items for discussion so as no items need to be taken on notice.
We foresee that from this meeting, regular meetings/discussion forums will be held between the largest business in the area - Lithgow Council - and those people that really want to see things happen in the Lithgow Council area within their lifetime!
IT IS TIME that we move ahead in this city and the barriers - in whichever form they may be - need to be removed to secure the future prospects of this region.
Meeting to be held:
