Located 36km’s east of Bathurst just off the Great Western Highway, Sunny corner is known as the Gold Mining Village. It was historically recognized for Gold and Silver mines in the 1880’s and boasted a population of around 4000 people.

These days Sunny Corner is home to around 170 people from all walks of life including Artists, Potters and Craftspersons who have created a unique ambience in the delightful village. On one weekend in November an arts and crafts exhibition is held where these works are sold directly to the public.

From one or two original dwellings to the remnants of the gold era, Sunny corner has a character of its own.
